    Sometimes it got too predictable, and Sloane certainly had good luck when it came to solving the pieces that brought the case to a conclusion, but the end was satisfying and worth reading. She had a way with comforting those she interrogated and getting information from people. I’d have liked no Giovanni love interest, less Cade taking over as if he had the right (though I hope he’s in the next book), and more richness to her supporting characters. And who in the heck is Joey? Next book, maybe. I really needed an epilogue of some kind because the story wasn’t quite finished for me... 4th Star is because of the possibilities.

    This book was good from the first sentence to the last! Lots of action! Good character development! And was very realistic! I would recommend reading this book and will look for other books by this author.

    An individual unwilling to talk to you is not a Bully. Defending yourself by just looking at you is not Bully behavior. I will not be reading anymore of this author's books, she hates men.

    I enjoyed this book. I'm from the Northwest & know Wyoming & Colorado; it's particularly interesting for me when the story takes place in my part of the country. I'm looking forward to reading more of Cheryl Bradshaws books. Sue C.
