    This was my first book by this author and I have to say I'm totally hooked. Absolutely loved her writing style. The characters ( Jackson and Leila) were well developed as well as the storyline. Loved the supporting characters (Donavon and Bennet) and their witty banter. I couldn't put it down. I read all night until I finished. A wonderful read.

    Oh Jackson and Leila where can I read more about you. I swooned and fell hard for these characters. Leila Hart is a politician's daughter who wants nothing more than to be accepted by her parents and make her own path as a NFL newscaster. Jackson Gray wants nothing more than to stay out of the limelight. He's happy where he is but when things change he comes out as heir to a million dollar company. He doesn't want to deal with the corporate world and she doesn't want anything to do with the political world. Can these two get past the secrets? Can they form a lasting relationship? Oh my goodness, I loved this book. The characters were great. The plot was amazing and I loved how it started with you thinking they were just coworkers and then throws in the secrets of their lives. The flow and pace were on par. The writing style was fabulous. I loved every second of this fabulous book. Violet invites you into a world that is fun and unique. She pulls you into the story where you expect one thing and end up somewhere completely different. I felt like I was a part of this story and can't wait to see what the rest of this series is like. I will definitely be looking for more great reading material by Violet Duke because she is an amazing author.

    Wow! Jackson's Trust is a sweet sexy romance. Jackson Gray works at DBC Sports Networks as an analyst. He is also a member of a rich family which is a secret he guards closely since he's afraid he won't be able to tell if someone likes him for himself or for his money. Leila Hart has a brain full of football stats and a lot of knowledge about it but because of her looks, is playing a dumb female so she can get a job with the network. Jackson is afraid to trust her since he has been burnt before but can't get her off his mind. Leila is interested in him but has secrets of his own. Violet keeps you guessing. The characters are well fleshed out and complex. Their personalities shine through and the sizzle just bounces off the page. The plot flows quickly but with enough twists & turns to keep you entertained. I couldn't put the book down and even found myself laughing out loud at one point! Great book!

Jackson doesn't do relationships, but is tempted when he meets Leila Hart. Jackson has his reasons for why he doesn't do relationships, but he keeps that a secret. Leila not only is a great sideline reporter, but is an expert on football. Her career is too important for Leila to risk something with Jackson plus she has her own secrets too. Will the pair be able to ignore the chemistry between them? I loved this story. The author gets your attention right away and keeps it. There were lots of twists and turns in the book that keeps you on your toes. This is a great story of fun and flirty romance, secrets and hurts, steamy scenes, and such depth to the characters. I look forward to reading other books by Violet Duke. I received a copy of this book from NetGalley/Random House Publishing Group - Loveswept for an honest review. FYI, contains mature content.

    Jackson’s Trust by Violet Duke introduces us to Jackson Gray and Leila Hart. Jackson works for a sports station, focusing on pro football. He does not do relationships and nor will he get involved with someone he works with. Leila is the new hire at the station, working with Jackson. Leila surprises all with her knowledge of football. Jackson and Leila decide to hang out together and be friends. Not friends with benefits, as this will be a no-sex, just hang out together friendship. Unfortunately, both of these characters have secrets they are keeping from one another, which keeps them from moving their relationship to a sexual one. I enjoyed getting to know Jackson, Leila and Jackson’s best friends who all live in the same building. I hope Ms. Duke is planning on writing additional books in this series featuring some of these people. I really enjoyed the interaction between Leila and Bennett and Donovan, Jackson’s best friends. As the secrets Jackson and Leila have are revealed the more problems occur, breaking the trust each has for the other. I believe the manner in which Ms. Duke handled their problems and kept the love between them alive benefitted as well as drove this story. I highly recommend this book to all readers. The characters were well written and complex. The plot was riveting and kept my attention to the very end. I had difficulty putting this story down.

    I have read a number of books by this author and have never been disappointed. I am happy to say this one did not disappoint either. Leila is a woman working in a male dominated world; therefore she finds herself having to always prove herself. On her first day of work she tries to dumb herself down. Don’t worry it isn’t what you think. She is quite an intelligent woman. But right away Jackson is on to her. He knows she is much more knowledgeable about football than she lets on. Right from the start they are attracted to each other. But because they both have a secret and they work together they realize getting into a relationship is not the wisest thing to do. But you know how that goes. While their romance quickly heats up they first become friends. Eventually their secrets are exposed. Both secrets were a surprise; one I did not see coming. Over all, this book is well written; dialogue flows easily. I enjoyed the banter back and forth between Leila and Jackson. Both could come back with a witty response. These characters are well developed and “likeable”. There are good secondary characters. I look forward to reading their stories. Hint to author! This is one author I will continue to keep on my shelves.

    Like all of Violet Dukes other books I could not put this one down. I picked it up every free minute I had to spare. As a girl who loves her football the game aspect was a nice touch. Jackson is such a sweet adorable guy you can't help but fall in love with him. He has such a big heart and a sexy as hell attitude. Even though he has a damaged background. Leila comes across as a typical tomboy at first, but as the story builds she grows into so much more. She can see Jackson for the good man he is and will stop at nothing to prove his worth to him. Unexpected events and tragedy bring hidden secrets and family into their budding romance that could destroy more than just their relationship. Definitely a five star read, and another example of why this is one of my favorite authors.

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I received an ARC from Netgalley for an honest review. Jackson's Trust was a great book, it flows wonderfully and gives you so many wonderful feels. If I had to say the one thing that surprised me throughout this book it was the genuine nature of the two main characters. Jackson and Leila stay true to themselves even if it means sacrificing there own happiness in hopes of others lives mostly each other. Both come from family backgrounds that will make you understand why friends play such a vital role in this book and let me guarantee Bennette and Donavan are two great friends and this reader hopes to see these two fun loving playboys get books of there own. I'm going to say just a bit about the book but saying too much will give away the entire climax of the book and I'll just say it had me staying up until 3am to finish the book. Jackson and Leila are both two people who work at a network both working in the sports industry. Jackson being the senior member with many awards and accomplishments. He is just a nice guy no matter his success or the status of his career he cares deeply for everyone he works with but does this so sincerely only someone paying attention see's the incredible person he truly is. Leila newly hired and a woman in a mans world is of course immediately attracted to Jackson but doesn't want anyone thinking her success is from sleeping her way up the rank. The bond the two create throughout this book is amazing they love the same things and a friendship builds first. They get too know each other first and I'll say this author made it easy for me too believe they could fall for one another. If your looking for an aggressive alpha male you won't find it in this book and if I'm being honest it was refreshing. You will get a sassy girl who's lots of fun and will put those she cares about first. In Jackson you get a flirtatious guy with a genuine kind sole that just like Leila has pain from his past that makes him fill unworthy of a forever family. I highly recommend this book and would have rated it a five had at times the author given me a little more understanding of the why's in the climax of the book. Plus I guess there needed to be some justice served toward both families for there actions, with that said I guess it might prove true at times the nice guy doesn't alway come out the winner or DOES HE? Only reading this book will give you the answers. Congratulation to Violet Duke for writing a absolutely believable love story!!!!!📚💕⭐️

    Jackson could hear Leila and some of the others talking as she was being shown around. Once he had her in his office it was not easy keeping his distance. Little did they both know his brother would be up to no good. So just as Jackson realized how important Leila was to his life everything changed. I could not put this book down I loved it and am reading it again.

    4.5 Ok I really enjoyed this book it was up then down then up again lol .Jackson is Billionaire in hiding till he is forced to come out , Leila is a sports reporter and LOVES football , she feels like she doesn't belong ..pretty much anywhere but around football , then she meets Jackson. They both have secrets that they need to figure out how to tell each other then figure out how to survive them . Violet has done such a good job of weaving this story . I wish i was a better review writer so i could truly explain how and what I loved about the books I read , But this is truly a great start to a new series that touches on her Cactus Creek series and I LOVE that about Violet Duke Books . This Has some mystery some romance and plenty of sizzle PLUS some crazy cool best friends and can't wait to get to read their stories !
